Hey Guys & Dolls,
Welcome back to my blog.
Do you ever find yourself combing through your closet visiting memories via the clothes?
Well, that was what I spent my weekend doing.
I came across this skirt in my closet and I realised that I haven’t worn it anywhere and therefore, had no associated memories.
A further perusal of my catalogue showed that I had not featured it in any posts and so I decided to throw an impromptu texture-filled outfit together.
I teamed this with some sleepwear. That’s right!
That crop top I’m wearing is actually lingerie and as fashion has rightly taught us these past few seasons, there are no rules!

(Lingerie worn as a) Crop top: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for Autograph
Skirt: H&M
Heels: Steve Madden

Are y’all feeling my fit?

Did y’all see what I did there?
Hey Guys & Dolls,
It has been a while since my last post. I hope y’all have missed me the way I have missed y’all.
It really breaks my heart that I cant put out posts consistently but I am going to need you guys to bear with me whilst I get my life all the way together.
I would like to use this opportunity to thank my friend, Ebi Pamere for stepping in and taking my amazing pictures. Love You Girl!!!
I would also like to say thank you in advance to the rest of you who have volunteered to help me out. I got all of your numbers and I will be using it.

Now that is all out of the way, lets get back to the post.
As you may have noticed, I haven’t rounded up/interpreted the S/S17 catwalk and as a result, my next few posts won’t be trend heavy in comparison to posts from the past.
I wanted to put together an outfit that paid homage to a spring heavyweight trend: NAUTICAL. The star of this little show paid homage and did a little more. It incorporated ruffles, puffy sleeves, stripes and the colour red; all elements of the S/S 17 catwalk.

Bodysuit: Topshop
Shirt: ZARA
Pants: ZARA
Heels: Marks & Spencer

Hey Guys & Dolls,
Every once in a while, I flip through the pages of this blog just to examine progress or just to visit past looks and as a result, I decided that I will be starting a mini series that’s not really a series, LOL
It will consist of me looking back and picking key items and re-merchandising to create a different look. This post sees the re-merchandising of the famous mustard pants from my fourth post ‘BOURDON’.
I went with a more casual look considering the fact that ‘bourdon’ was quite dressy. Looking through a lot of my posts, I realised that I don’t put together as many casual looks as I do smart ones, so I wanted to do something different compared to the look I had originally planned.
I will attempt to show you what I had initially planned in another post (most probably in autumn).

Coat: Topshop Boutique
Tee: Marks & Spencer
Pants: Marks & Spencer
Sliders: Topshop

Hey Guys & Dolls,
Welcome back to my blog. I wanted to show you an amalgamation of interpretations that entwine both the A/W and S/S’17 catwalks. This look is heavily influenced by Menswear, which has served as an infinite source for Womenswear designers.
This shirt was given to me as a gift when I worked as a Brand Ambassador last year and I fell in love with it because it doubles as both a shirt (plain/deconstructed) and a dress for me. I had numerous ideas about how I wanted to style it (many of which I can’t wait to show y’all), but then I found this bustier in my closet, which I presently cannot wear because I’m carrying a little extra weight right now.
I love playing with texture, with colours and with themes/eras, which explains my current obsession with this western inspired choker that I have been wearing everyday since I got it. I wanted to combine the different elements to create something unique.

Choker: Stradivirus
Corset: Forever 21
Denim: Marks & Spencer
Longline Shirt: Marks & Spencer
Shoes: Primark

How did I do?
